How to say “sent” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَدَلِيلُ هَذَا أَنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى لَمْ يَبْعَثْ نَبِيًّا قَطُّ إِلَّا وَهُوَ كَرِيمٌ
The proof of this is that God Almighty has never sent a prophet except that he was generous.
يَبْعَثْ — he sent. This present-tense verb carries its own 'he' subject but reads as past because of the negator before it, which also clips its ending to the jussive shape. Together they give 'has never sent'.
