And he pointed with his hand to his tongue and said, 'The eye sheds tears, and the heart grieves, but we do not say except what pleases the Lord.'
تَدْمَعُ — it sheds tears. Present-tense verb, 'it sheds tears', with a feminine ending agreeing with the feminine 'eye' that follows as its subject. The present form states a general, ongoing truth; agreement is marked on the verb.
