How to say “similar” in Arabic, with pronunciation and real example sentences from OpenArabic texts.
ونظيره قوله سبحان ﴿لا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ نَصْرَ أَنْفُسِهِمْ وَلا هُمْ مِنَّا يُصْحَبُونَ﴾
And similarly, His words: "They cannot help themselves, nor are they helped by Us."
وَنَظِيرُهُ — And similarly. wa- (and) on a noun carrying -hu (its), 'and its like / counterpart'. The attached -hu points back to the point just made; the noun introduces a parallel proof-text that matches it.

وَنَظِيرُهُ — and a similar idea. A noun 'its likeness/parallel' with an attached 'its' ending, joined by the leading 'and'. It opens an 'of' pairing with the next word and points back to the prior idea as the thing this saying parallels.
