لَكِن مَقْصُود أهل التَّحْقِيق كالجنيد وَنَحْوه أَن يكون هَذَا التَّوْحِيد للْعَبد خلقا ومقاما
However, what the people of realization, like Al-Junayd and his peers, mean is that this tawhid becomes for the servant a disposition and a station.
وَنَحْوِهِ — and his peers. 'And' + 'the likes of' with 'him' attached — 'and those like him'; genitive, parallel to the named example.
From: Worship God Alone →كَمَا فِي قَول الْجَهْمِية والممثلة والقدرية وَنَحْوههم
As in the statements of the Jahmiyyah, the Mushabbihah, and the Qadariyyah and their likes.
وَنَحْوِهِمْ — and their likes. 'and the like of them' — 'nahw' (likeness) heading an 'of' pairing with the attached 'them'. It is genitive in the list and sweeps in any comparable group.
From: Worship God Alone →فقد رأينا جماعة يسيرة على نحو ذلك،
Indeed, we saw a small group acting in this way.
نَحْوِ — this way. This noun means 'manner / way' and heads a possessive — 'the manner OF that'. It sits in the genitive after the preposition and owns the demonstrative to come. Together they say 'in that fashion'.
From: Intention in Islam →فصل وَهَذِه الْأَعْمَال الْبَاطِنَة كمحبة الله وَالْإِخْلَاص لَهُ والتوكل عَلَيْهِ وَالرِّضَا عَنهُ وَنَحْو ذَلِك كلهَا مَأْمُور بهَا فِي حق الْخَاصَّة والعامة
Section: These inner actions — such as love of Allah, sincerity to Him, reliance upon Him, and contentment with Him, and the like — are all commanded for both the elite and the common people.
وَنَحْوَ — and similar. A connector plus 'the like of', wrapping up the list with 'and similar'. It is the head of an 'X of Y' pair completed by the next word, the owned form readying it for the demonstrative that follows.
From: Patience in Hard Times →فَنَأَى بِصَدْرِهِ نَحْوَهَا
Then he turned his chest toward her.
نَحْوَهَا — toward her. This is a direction noun ('toward') fused with an attached feminine pronoun pointing back to the land/mount: 'toward it'. It behaves like a preposition, governing that pronoun and naming the goal his movement was aimed at, with the referent tracked by the feminine suffix.
From: The Joy of Repentance →وَأَمَّا الْعِبَادَةُ وَمَا يُنَاسِبُهَا مِنَ التَّوَكُّلِ وَالْخَوْفِ وَنَحْوِ ذَلِكَ
As for worship and what suits it, such as trust in God, fear of God, and the like.
وَنَحْوِ — and the like of. The wa- adds a closing item, a noun for 'the like of', which heads an 'of' pairing with the demonstrative after it and stays genitive under the partitive 'from'. It rounds off the list with 'and the like of that', gesturing at unnamed further examples.
