فَإِذَا فَرَغُوا أَخَذَ هَذَا الْإِمَامُ الْغَرِيبُ الشَّأْنُ فِي إِيرَادِ خُطْبَتِهِ عَجَلًا مُبْتَدِرًا،
When they had finished, this imam of uncommon standing hurriedly began to deliver his sermon.
مبتدرًا — abruptly. An active participle 'rushing ahead / taking the lead', in the object-style case used adverbially alongside the previous 'hurriedly'. It describes the manner of his delivery as eager and forward-pressing. The accusative is the mark of its adverbial role.
