How to say “does” in Arabic, with pronunciation and real example sentences from OpenArabic texts.
ورضَاهُ بِمَا يَفْعَله بِهِ ويختاره لَهُ
And his contentment with what He does to him and chooses for him.
يَفْعَلُهُ — He does to him. A present-tense verb 'does' with '-hu' (it) attached as object, subject 'He' (God) inside. The suffix points to what is done.
From: Humility Before the Divine →يَفْعَلُ ذَٰلِكَ كُلَّ لَيْلَةٍ مِنْ تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَاتِ الثَّلاَثِ
He does that on each of those three nights.
يَفْعَلُ — he does. Present-tense verb 'does' with the single-male subject built in; the habitual present here paints a repeated routine rather than one event. No separate subject word appears because the verb already carries it.
