  بِالرَّفِيقِ — with the companion. This is the preposition bi- ('with') fused to a definite noun; bi- governs it in the genitive. The bi- marks WITH WHOM the intimacy is found, 'intimacy WITH the companion', completing the idea. One word carries both the 'with' and the noun.

  رَفِيقًا — a companion. An indefinite noun 'a companion', the second complement of 'make me': make me into a companion. Such 'render X (into) Y' verbs take two objects, and this is the resulting state, in the object form. So it states what the speaker asks to be turned into.
