How to say “guide me” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَهَذِهِ إِحْدَى الْفَوَائِدِ فِي دُعَاءِ الْقُنُوتِ اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِنِي فِيمَنْ هَدَيْتَ أَيْ أَدْخِلْنِي فِي هَذِهِ الزُّمَرَةِ،
And this is one of the benefits in the standing supplication: O Allah, guide me among those You have guided, that is, admit me into this group.
اهْدِنِي — guide me. A command verb 'guide', carrying the object -ni ('me') on the end, where the extra -n- is the cushioning sound Arabic inserts before a 'me' object on a verb. So one word is 'guide me', a request addressed to God. A 'with/among whom' phrase follows.
