وَأَشَارَ بِيَدِهِ إِلَى لِسَانه وَقَالَ تَدْمَع الْعين ويحزن الْقلب وَلَا نقُول إِلَّا مَا يرضى الرب
And he pointed with his hand to his tongue and said, 'The eye sheds tears, and the heart grieves, but we do not say except what pleases the Lord.'
الرَّبُّ — the Lord. Definite noun, 'the Lord', the subject of 'pleases', following its verb. The 'the' marks the known divine Lord; verb-first order places the subject after.
