توحيدًا يَنفي الشِّرك ويُثبتُ الألوهيةَ لله وحده،
Monotheism that negates associating partners and affirms divinity solely for Allah,
الشِّرْكَ — the associating partners. 'the associating of partners', accusative as the object negated. al- makes it the definite, technical sin; it is exactly what tawhid cancels.

The second type of shirk (associating partners with Allah) is showing off with deeds.
الشِّرْكِ — shirk. A noun carrying 'the', held in the (genitive) form by the 'from' before it. It names the larger category out of which this second type is singled out.

And he said: 'Beware of minor shirk.'
