Arabic vocabulary
إِحْضَارُ is how you say “producing” in Arabic. Hear it pronounced and see it used in a real example sentence from classical texts below.
وآخر منهم إن حضر في ختمة أو تلا في محراب جعل ديدنه إحضار غرائب الوجوه والسكت،
Another of them, when present at a completion or when reciting in the prayer niche, made it his habit to produce strange facial expressions and to remain silent.
إِحْضَارُ — to produce. An action-noun (a verb turned into a 'the act of producing' noun) that names the deed itself rather than telling who does it. It stands as the first half of an 'of' pairing with 'the strange [expressions]' that follow - 'the producing of...'. Arabic loves these action-nouns to compress a whole verb-phrase into a single naming word.
