وَمَعَادِهِ — and end. A noun 'his return/end' with an attached 'his' ending, joined by the leading 'and' to the prior noun and sharing the genitive. It pairs origin with end as the two endpoints of the human's state.

وَمَعَادِهِ — and return. This joins 'and' to the noun 'return/final destiny' plus an attached 'his', genitive in the same phrase. The attached owner again points to humankind, giving 'his return', the second stage; the 'and' pairs it with 'his origin'.

Unlike the connection between the origin and the resurrection, the first creation and the second creation, and the first life and the second life.
وَالمَعَادِ — and the resurrection. The wa- pairs this with 'the origin', and the noun carries 'the', naming the return or final destiny as the matching side. Coordinated by 'and', the two definite nouns form the bracketed pair that 'between' links: origin and return.

الْمَعَادِ — Return. The completing half of 'day of return', so it carries the possessive case and the 'the' that defines the phrase. Set beside the time word with no word for 'of', it names which day, the return to God.
