And the joy of one created with the power of anger and retribution is in employing their furious strength on its objective.
وَالثَّوَابِ — and reward. 'And' plus 'requital / retribution', a second owner parallel to 'anger', genitive — and of avenging. Anger paired with the drive to repay.
From: Directing Desire Toward God →
Similarly, the wise person refrains from the pleasures of sins fearing the torment of the Hereafter, and bears the bitterness of obedience hoping for the reward of Allah Almighty.
لِثَوَابِ — for the reward of. Here 'li-' is fused on as 'for' to a noun that opens a possessive pair, 'the reward of Allah'. The preposition marks the goal of the hope; the noun links to its owner with no word for 'of'.
