  If one experiences an impurity after taking the dust but before wiping the face, the taking is invalidated, and he must take it again.

  النَّقْلُ — take. An action-noun, 'the transferring / carrying [of dust],' the subject of 'bound him' (the -u). It is the duty newly imposed: moving fresh dust to the limbs once more, since the first taking is void.
