How to say “the successful” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَقَالَ تَعَالَى إِنِّي جَزَيْتُهُمْ الْيَوْمَ بِمَا صَبَرُوا أَنَّهُمْ هُمْ الْفَائِزُونَ
And the Exalted said: Indeed I have rewarded them on the Day of Judgment for what they patiently endured; they are the successful.
الْفَائِزُونَ — the successful. A definite plural doer-noun ('the winners') serving as the predicate, completing 'that they are the winners'. It comments on the patient ones as the truly successful.
