If the servant has a ready supply of faith to counter those weapons and surpass them, he prevails over the devil.
انْتَصَفَ — he takes revenge. A past-tense verb 'got his due / prevailed', subject 'he' (the servant) inside — the answer to the long 'if'. It means he gets the better of his foe.

He set out until when he was halfway there, death came to him.
نَصَفَ — was halfway. A past verb 'reached the midpoint of', subject 'he' inside. It tells how far he got before death came. It takes the following noun as the thing whose middle he reached.

Then he set out and continued until he reached the middle of the road.
نَصَفَ — reached the middle. This is a past-tense verb, third-person masculine singular, with the subject 'he' folded inside it. It is the event that the earlier 'until... when' frame was pointing toward, and it takes the following noun as its direct object, naming exactly what was reached.
