The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, entered into his general protection and married her when he was twenty-five years old.
عُمُومَتِهِ — his general protection. A noun ('the body of uncles/general protection') with the suffix '-hi' ('his') fused on as possessor, in the genitive after 'in'. The attached pronoun reaches back to the Messenger, marking whose kin-protection is meant.
