How to say “occasion” in Arabic, with pronunciation and real example sentences from OpenArabic texts.
أَقُولُ فِي كُلِّ مَرَّةٍ
Each time I say,
مَرَّةٍ — time. The singular noun 'time' completing 'each', in the genitive as the thing distributed over. Pairing 'each' with a singular noun is how Arabic says 'every occasion', matching the English singular after 'each'.

مَرَّةٍ — time. The noun 'time/occasion' that 'first' modifies, completing the adverbial phrase 'the first time'. Together with the ordinal it locates the action at its first occurrence.
