مَوَاضِعِ — places. 'mawadi'' = 'places, spots' (plural); first half of an 'of' phrase: 'the places of...'.

The third is that there is no counterpart to this meaning in any part of the Quran, nor has anyone denied it to necessitate that God establishes evidence for it.
مَوْضِعٍ — part. This noun 'place/instance' is in the genitive forced by the preposition before it and is indefinite, 'a place'. It is described by 'one' that follows, together meaning 'a single spot'.

He said: Turn the bag so that the leaking spot is on top, and nothing will fall out of it.
مَوْضِعُ — spot. Names the subject of 'may be' and takes the -u ending; it then heads an 'of' chain with 'the leaking' that follows, 'the spot of the leaking'.
