How to say “sinner” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَهَذَا بَين أَن المذنب بِالشرابِ وَغَيره قد يكون محبا لله وَرَسُوله
This shows that a sinner through drinking and otherwise can still love Allah and His Messenger.
المُذْنِبَ — the sinner. This noun carries 'the' and its ending is the accusative because the 'that' particle before it forces that case on its subject. It names the sinner as the topic of the reported clause, the one the statement is about.
