And similarly, His saying: 'Say: The Holy Spirit has brought it down from your Lord in truth.'
رُوحُ — the Spirit. The noun 'spirit' heading the pairing 'the spirit of holiness' and serving as the subject of 'brought down'. Its subject ending marks it as the doer; it leans on the owner that follows to form the title 'the Holy Spirit'.
From: God's Eternal Word →
Some of the people will say to others: "Your father Adam," and they will go to him and say: "O Adam, you are the father of humanity. Allah created you with His hand, breathed into you of His spirit, commanded the angels, and they prostrated to you and placed you in Paradise."
رُوحِهِ — His spirit. A noun with a 'his' pronoun fused onto its end, a possessive in one word. It stands in the genitive because the partitive preposition before it governs that ending, and the attached 'his' ties the spirit back to God.
