How to say “study it” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَمَا اجْتَمَعَ قَوْمٌ فِي بَيْتٍ مِنْ بُيُوتِ اللَّهِ يَتْلُونَ كِتَابَ اللَّهِ، وَيَتَدَارَسُونَهُ فِيمَا بَيْنَهُمْ؛
No people gather in one of the houses of Allah, reciting the Book of Allah and studying it among themselves;
وَيَتَدَارَسُونَهُ — and studying it. A reciprocal Form VI verb, 'study it together, with one another', plural 'they' inside and '-hu' the object 'it' (the Book). The mutual pattern captures their studying it among themselves.
