قَالَ تَعَالَىٰ ﴿فَاصْبِرْ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ وَاسْتَغْفِرْ لِذَنْبِكَ﴾
Allah, the Exalted, said: "So be patient; indeed, the promise of Allah is true, and seek forgiveness for your sin."
لِذَنْبِكَ — for your sin. A preposition 'for' fused to a noun 'sin' with a 'your' tag on its end — 'for your sin' in one word. The preposition governs the noun into the genitive, and the suffix marks whose sin, all bundled together.

In one narration they come to me and say, "O Muhammad, you are the Messenger of God and the Seal of the Prophets, and your past and future sins have been forgiven."
ذَنْبِكَ — your sin. A noun fused with '-ka' for 'your sin', binding the sin to the Prophet; the noun also sits in the form the preceding preposition governs. Possessor and case on one word.
