How to say “ease” in Arabic, with pronunciation and real example sentences from OpenArabic texts.
تَعَرَّفْ إلَى اللَّهِ فِي الرَّخَاءِ يَعْرِفُك فِي الشِّدَّةِ،
Get to know Allah in prosperity, and He will know you in adversity.
الرَّخَاءِ — prosperity. In the genitive after 'in', naming ease and abundance, the comfortable times. The counsel: build the bond when life is easy.
From: Patience and Trust in God →وَقَدِيمًا خِرِتُ لَهُمْ فَإِنِّي لَأَذُودُهُمْ عَنْ نَعِيمِهَا وَرَخَائِهَا
And long ago I took pains for them, so indeed I do ward them off from its pleasures and its comforts.
وَرَخَائِهَا — and its comforts. The wa- on the front is 'and', joining this noun to the previous one so they share the same 'warded away from' role, and -ha ('its') is fused to its end, again pointing back to the world. So one word coordinates a second item and marks it as belonging to the world. The two nouns together complete what the people are kept from.
